I've never ridden, or very little. I'm just discovering it. I've never taken riding lessons, or maybe it was a long time ago.
I'm not afraid of horses, and I'm in good physical condition.
Don't worry, we'll take the time to gently guide you!
I ride occasionally but I know how to trot in balance and control a horse at basic gaits. I have already done several trail rides or taken lessons (English level: approx. BHS Stage 1+ or Pony Club C).
I am in good physical condition to be light on my horse on the uphills.
Perfect for a rhythmic but accessible ride.
I ride regularly. I am independent in preparing and saddling my horse. I am able to mount and dismount without assistance. I am in good physical condition and can stay in the saddle for several hours.
For a ride: I am comfortable at all three gaits outdoors: walk, trot, canter, I control speed and direction and I know how to stay balanced on the uphills (English Level: Confident Rider – approx. BHS Stage 2 or Pony Club C+/B).
For a multi-day trail ride: I am independent and I have perfect control of my horse in all situations, including on varied terrain, with energetic horses, and during long, sustained canters. There may be some difficult passages (stony terrain, steep slopes, etc.). English Level: Advanced Rider – approx. BHS Stage 3 or Pony Club B+/A.
☀️See you next summer !🌼

❄️ Important Information: A Winter Without the Ranch Nordique...
It is with great sadness that we must announce that, following the municipality’s decision, the Ranch Nordique’s winter activities – pony-sled rides, ski-joering, and horseback rides in the snow – are now prohibited.
We therefore have to leave the Bois d’Arbin and will be relocating just before Mussillon, at the entrance to the resort (see our new location on Google Maps).
As of today, our future for next summer remains uncertain. It is possible that the Ranch will be permanently relocated and that our activities will change — perhaps no more riding lessons, but only horseback treks and pony rides. 🐴
Whatever happens, we will remain in Méribel with our animals and continue sharing our passion with you.
This winter, visits to see the reindeer and the mini-farm will be the only activity available, to keep bringing joy to both children and adults. 🦌
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty and support. 💚

☀️ See you next summer 🌻
The Nordic Ranch offers trail rides for all levels, for an unforgettable horseback riding experience in the mountains
READ THE DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY TO FIND THE RIDE THAT SUITS YOU AND ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE SAFELY!
⚠️ Minimum age for the activity: 13 years old.
Our experience has shown us that children under this age do not have the strength to handle a horse; this limit is therefore for their safety and should not be taken lightly!
⚠️ Please note: our horses are suitable for people of small and medium build. Mountain riding represents a significant effort for the horses. Therefore, for their comfort and safety, we cannot accept clients weighing more than 90 kg.
You may be redirected to another slot if horses suited to your size/level are already booked in a previous reservation.
